A flocks of Cardinals is also called a Conclave or a radiance. don't you feel radiant? they're known for staying put in the winter and looking good because they don't molt. Also, it's the state bird of Ohio.



This is a Cedar Waxwing, not a Bohemian, if you want to get technical. They're migrators and should be coming as far south as the Gulf Coast and Southern California in the winter. They're also called an "ear full."
