the final part of a play, movie, or narrative in which the strands of the plot are drawn together and matters are explained or resolved.
the climax of a chain of events, usually when something is decided or made clear.
For this Lark, there is no denouement.
After 40 days and 40 writes, there is more. And I intend to continue the workout until there is a genuine felt sense of denouement with the project.
Each prompt did build the rising action of the "play", but I have not arrived at the point of resolution.
Some strands became clearer, and in a way, provided a resolution within the days' prompt. However, the arc of the story is incomplete for this writer.
With a second go round, I hope to weave more strands together to a clear finish.
How will I know when it is finished?
Maybe there will always be more to say?
Maybe, as was intended from the beginning, I will bounce back into blogging again? I heard from one of my readers today. She asked if I had stopped blogging. Encouraged by Larks, I could honestly answer that I would be back soon.
I'll fly this energy generated by daily practice back to my own nest, my creative niche.
