All in Slowing Down

My grandmother lived to 92, and she never slowed down until her late 80s, when physical limitations took their toll. Before then, she was always immersed socially, in church groups, in family events, in travel with friends. She did crosswords and word puzzles. She read voraciously.

I love to feel strong on the slopes. I love to stand on top of the mountain and look around me in wonder at the top of the world. The joy of making first tracks in the morning is only possible when you feel young enough to rise at dawn.
